Business strategy analysis

 The aim of this module is to enable students to widen their understanding and knowledge of the importance of business strategy analysis applicable to organisations. This will involve assessing the organisation’s strategic position, strategic choice and implementation of strategic action in processes, people, finance and information technology. The students will be introduced to the basic principles and theories that underlie this area of study and to elaborate on the role of business analysis in averting and/or managing financial crises The teaching of this module will stimulate broader strategic thinking on the application of models and theoretical concepts to practical problems and to bring about rational and sensible conclusions and recommendations for management decision-making.
