Impact of the Airbnb Law on housing rental in San Francisco, and how to comply with the law.

Paper details Develop a formal, written paper analyzing one law, regulation, regulatory agency or legal issue that affects operations of an HRT agency or organization. You are writing the paper to inform new management trainees in one HRT industry/setting about actions that can be taken by managers and staff to comply with legal requirements and effectively deal with a legal issue. Focus on one HRT industry and setting: Hospitality/tourism (hotel, restaurant, cruise line, airline or casino), recreation (park, sport, aquatics, day camp, military or campus recreation program) or recreation therapy program (medical, city, school or prison). Content Clearly identify the HRT industry/setting and the law, standard, regulatory agency or legal issue you are researching (purpose of the paper and audience). Evaluate and analyze information obtained from a minimum of two (2) current and credible sources (other than the course textbook). Draw details in your own words from the references, providing evidence to support statements in the paper and establish the credibility of the sources. Cite your references in APA format within the text of the paper and at the end. References Use search strategies (keywords, databases, library catalog) to locate two or more current references that were published in the past 16 years (2003-2019). The Hospitality and Tourism Complete database at http://library.csueastbay.edu can be used to locate full-text journal articles using key words (hotel, recreation program, law, regulation, legal, etc.). The two required references must be relevant, credible and directly related to one law, standard, regulatory agency or legal issue that affects operations of an HRT agency or organization. The only types of acceptable references are: 1. Full-text peer-reviewed journal articles. 2. Books other than the course textbook. 3. Trade or industry publication articles (published to educate and inform professionals working in a trade or industry). 4. Articles, data, legal requirements or analysis from governmental web pages (.gov), educational web pages (.edu). 5. Conference proceeding articles. 6. Dissertations/theses. Use only the type of references listed. All references must be published or revised between 2003-2019 and include the name of the author/editor/organization. Do NOT use magazine articles (designed for the public), blogs, encyclopedias, dictionaries, Wikipedia, magazines, book reviews, abstracts, videos, or newspaper articles as references. Format 1. You are writing a formal paper, use first person (no I, we or you). For example: According to researchers (Smith, 2017) one industry regulation that is important for hotel managers to know about is . . . 2. The written assignment must be submitted in Word or PDF format (.doc, .docx. or .pdf). 3. The paper should be a minimum of 1000 words including the introduction, body and conclusion. An abstract, title page, running head, and table of contents should not be included and will not count toward the required length. 4. The paper should be typed, double-spaced, utilize a 12-point readable font, be edited, spell and grammar checked. 5. Double-space the entire paper, do not include extra spaces between paragraphs or sections. Indent the first line of each paragraph. Limit paragraphs to 4-7 sentences in length. 6. Include APA format citations throughout the text of the paper (author’s last name, year of publication), and full APA citations in the reference section at the end of the paper. 7. Include an introduction, body, conclusion, and reference section. 8. Do not use any direct quotes, lists or bullet points in the paper. Write full sentences in paragraph form. The content should be in your own words, based on use of appropriately cited reference materials. 9. Use appropriate grammar, spelling, sentence structure and punctuation. 10. Organize the flow of information in the paper, with good transitions between ideas and headings to add structure.
